2021 E-Class Family Redesigned

Brought to you by Mercedes-Benz of Charlottesville

The 2021 model year, and with it, the 2021 E-Class family has been completely redesigned to make sure that they all stay modern and filled with the level of comfort and safety that you want. Not only will you be inside of a vehicle that cares about your overall comfort, you’ll be benefiting from new efficient engines that even feature 48-volt technology, and the Mercedes-Benz User Experience infotainment system. Whether you’re looking at the Sedan, Coupe, Cabriolet, or All-Terrain, there is an E-Class model for you to choose from. Down below we are going to be going through some of these models to show off the changes, and how they further benefit your needs.

What are some of the engines that I can find?

There are a few different engines that you will be able to find throughout the entire E-Class lineup. The first one we are looking at is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder, which comes with an integrated starter generator, and a 48-volt onboard electrical system. This engine is capable of producing around 369 pound-feet of torque and up to 362 horsepower. The electric boost adds in 21 horsepower and even around 184 pound-feet of torque. Another engine that you might be interested in hearing about is the Handcrafted AMG® 4.0-liter V8 biturbo, which can create 627 pound-feet of torque and up to 603 horsepower. No matter the engine, this family of vehicles is here with all of the power you could ever need.

What are some of the driver-assist features?

One of the major benefits of getting a refresh is all of the latest generation driver assistance features that you will now find. One of the biggest additions has been Exit Warning Assist, which offers additional protection whenever you are getting out of a vehicle. You’ll also love the support that comes in stop-and-go traffic, which gives the vehicle the capability of restarting the vehicle automatically after coming to a stop. Another major addition is End-of-Traffic-Jam Assist, which works with LiveTraffic to recognize traffic jams and slow traffic before you are even aware that it is happening.

What are some of the design changes?

The overall hope with this redesign has been to create a sportier and dynamic exterior, which includes new headlamps and taillamps, and even a radiator grille and bumper. Some of the major interior highlights include a 12.3-inch dual widescreen display, a steering wheel with capacitive sensor technology, and even hands-off detection. Other factors of this redesign include more wheel options, different paint colors, and even new upholstery. The hope here has been to enhance the overall experience, both inside and out, in order to make sure that you are getting the kind of Mercedes that you want.
