The base engine here is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6, which comes with an EQ Boost electrical system. You’ll be able to get up to 369 pound-feet of torque and around 362 horsepower. The other engine is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, which generates 516 pound-feet of torque and around 483 horsepower. Both engines get all-wheel drive as standard, along with a nine-speed automatic transmission. You can even tow up to 7,700 pounds with both engines!

2020 BMW X7 Power & Handling

Two engines are available with the X7 SUV. The base engine here is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6, which can generate around 330 pound-feet of torque and up to 335 horsepower. The other available engine, which comes in two configurations, is a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8. This engine, with the xDrive50i, produces 456 horsepower. The M50i model pumps out 523 horsepower. Each engine works with an 8-speed automatic transmission. You can only tow up to 7,500 pounds.
